Job summary

Industrial Engineering Partners seeks a Service Technician to install, maintain and repair compressors, pumps and rotating equipment in the Boise area. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in field settings, perform preventative maintenance, and support customers across the Treasure Valley.

The role requires hands-on expertise with compressors, motors and control systems, plus a valid driver’s license and strong customer-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience servicing compressors, pumps, vacuum equipment, motors, controls or related industrial machinery.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work field-based across Boise and the Treasure Valley.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and repair compressors, pumps, motors and industrial equipment.

Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Service Technician required to join an established industrial engineering business.

The Successful Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Service Technician will be field-based supporting industrial customers across Boise, the wider Treasure Valley and Southwest Idaho, providing installation, maintenance, service, troubleshooting and repair of compressed-air, rotating and electromechanical equipment. Full product training provided.

The Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Service Technician will ideally have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with hands-on experience servicing compressors, pumps, vacuum equipment, motors, controls or related industrial machinery, who can work independently in a customer-facing field role.

• Field-based covering Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Middleton, Emmett, Mountain Home and surrounding industrial markets.
• Liaise with various engineering departments.
• Hands-on experience with compressors, pumps, motors or industrial equipment.
• Experience as a Service Technician / Service Engineer / Compressor Technician / Mechanical Engineer or similar.
• Strong mechanical and three-phase electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with compressors, dryers, filtration, vacuum pumps, motors, controls or rotating equipment is advantageous.
• Valid driver's license with strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to work field-based across Boise, the Treasure Valley and Southwest Idaho.
