Job summary

Veolia Group is a global leader in environmental services, seeking an Asset Care Service Technician to install and service water purification systems at customer sites. You will deliver, set up, and exchange ion exchange tanks for commercial and industrial applications, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

This role requires practical field experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adaptability to varied environments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive to customer sites to deliver equipment and perform installations.
• Load/unload tanks, ensure inventory accuracy and quality standards.
• Record test results (pH, TDS, hardness, etc.) and adjust as needed.
• Perform maintenance on pumps, motors, or PVC as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow EHS policies.
• Build and maintain positive customer relationships.

Job Description

Job Summary:
The Asset Care Service Technician will install and service water purification systems at customer sites. In this role, you will deliver, set up, and exchange ion exchange tanks to customers in commercial and industrial applications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive truck to deliver ion exchange tanks and water treatment equipment to customer sites
• Ensure that the correct daily equipment is loaded, secured, and meets quality specs
• Load and unload tanks on trucks and maintain correct inventory on board trucks as required
• Complete Vehicle Inspection Reports for pre-trip inspection
• Keepaccurate accountability of inventory at each site and makechanges as needed
• Communicatechanges through the proper channels and followup to ensure that changes have been made
• Takewater samples and conductthe following tests, including but not limited to TOS, resistivity, pH, C021 Cl21 and hardness
• Accurately record results and makesuggestions or changes as required
• Rinseion exchange tanks to customer specifications at customer sites and ensurequality specifications are met
• Performboth dry and wet ion exchange tank exchanges
• Performmaintenance on equipment to include PVC repairand minor pump and motor repairs
• Maintaingood housekeeping at all times
• FollowWater Techand customer EHS policies and rules
• Maintaincontact with customers on site, communicating effectively, politely, and responding to their needs
• Maintaingood customer relationships
• Assistwith equipment or product delivery outside normal scope when needed
• May be required to be on call during non-business hours

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of commercial & industrial membrane systems & UV systems
• Knowledge of PLC logic/programing
• Knowledge of ion exchange & membrane theory & operation, as well as pretreatmentapplications
• Ability & willingness to handle repetitive weight up to 50lbs
• Ability & willingness to work in all weather conditions
• Ability & willingness to work in a range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, & power industry facilities

Education & Experience:

Required

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Possess a valid driver's license & clean driving record history

Preferred

• Vocational training in applicable fields such as electrical, industrial/mechanical
• College coursework in chemistry
• Associate's Degree in electrical, industrial/mechanical, engineering, or water treatment disciplines
• Experience driving company vehicles such as panel vans or service trucks
• Forklift certification/experience or ability to obtain forklift certification

Working Conditions:

• May be required to lift up to 50lbs
• May be required to work in all weather conditions
• Work may take place in a range of environments (industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, & power industry facilities)
