The Service Technician is responsible for keeping the appearance and operations of the property in excellent condition both inside and out. Daily responsibilities include making ready units for new move-ins performing work orders (electrical plumbing HVAC etc.) appliance repairs unit inspections updating logs as needed and exterior maintenance. This role will respond to after-hours emergencies (on-call) as well.

What Youll Do

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical plumbing carpentry masonry and painting repairs.
• Repair showers sinks appliances doors / cabinets walls and building exteriors.
• Have working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain repair and replace HVAC systems and keep logs updated.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours as directed by the Community Manager and / or Service Manager and report any emergency work orders in a timely manner.
• Complete grounds pick up sweeping and light landscaping such as mulch and sprinkler head replacements when possible.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 years of relevant experience required.
• OSHA EPA and CPO license / certifications preferred.
• Written verbal and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
