Job summary

R.W Mercer Co. seeks a Service Technician to calibrate fuel dispensing units, install and diagnose equipment, repair dispensers and POS systems, and support environmental monitoring hardware at our Michigan locations.

You will work outdoors year-round, follow safety requirements, manage service orders and paperwork, maintain vehicle inventory, and coordinate with team members to keep stations operating reliably.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

R.W Mercer Co. is a family-owned construction and service company headquartered in Jackson, Michigan, with seven locations - six in Michigan and one in Indiana. The company operates in distinct areas of construction: petroleum contracting and service, general contracting, and electrical. In each area, R.W. Mercer provides a turn-key approach that includes planning, design, construction, and installation as well as service, monitoring, and maintenance.

The Service Technician performs many tasks calibrating fuel dispensing units to installing and diagnosing/ repairing fuel dispensers, point of sales systems, environmental monitoring equipment and system communication.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Learn through knowledge of service stations equipment and repair procedures
