Job summary

Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a full-time NDE Field Service Technician to support power plant field services across the Americas. You will travel up to 75% annually to domestic and international sites, prepare for jobs, and perform field inspections per Siemens requirements.

You will inspect equipment, ship test gear, and assist with outage planning, tool delivery, and field service systems. Strong NDE credentials (UT, UT-PA, ET, PT, MT, VT, RT) and Ultrasonic Phased Array experience required;

Qualifications

• NDE certification in 6 methods (UT, UTPA, ET, PT, MT, VT & RT).
• Experience and hours in Ultrasonic Phased Array and Level II in Eddy Current is mandatory.
• NDE associate degree or equivalent military training required; live within an hour drive of a major airport.
• Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work in groups.
• Four+ years’ experience with Siemens Energy; strong ownership culture.
• Must be frequently requested by internal and external customers with high performance.
• Must pass extended background check for unescorted access to nuclear facilities.
• Applicants must be Siemens Energy employees.

• Communicate technology and inspection findings to global Siemens team members and customers.

We have a need for askilled full-time NDE Field Service Technician. Our NDE Field ServiceTechnicians travel to power plant sites across the Americas including theUnited States, Canada, Central and South America to provide nondestructivetesting services.

HowYou’ll Make an Impact

· Prepare for and supportfield service jobs at power plants located at domestic and international jobsites.

· Perform fieldinspections per Siemens requirements.

· Travel (up to 75%annually for this position) to power plant sites.

· Support customer powerplant outage planning and production control by ensuring the timely delivery oftools, personnel, and field inspection activities through the application offield service systems and procedures.

· Prepare shipments oftest equipment for domestic and international shipping. Support the developmentof new and continuous improvement of existing specialty service applicationsand tooling for use in the field. On-site and off-site technical and operationalsupport in the design, development, installation and maintenance of equipmentand systems of a complex nature. Communicate technology and inspection findingsto global Siemens team members and with internal and external customers.
