Job summary

NOV Texas Oil Tools is seeking a Service Technician at our Odessa, Texas location. You will assemble, test and repair pressure control equipment and follow approved drawings and BOMs under supervision. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with proficiency in Excel and forklift operation considered a plus. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience and knowledge of mechanical assembly; basic blueprint reading skills and pressure control equipment (preferred).
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Forklift experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Produce parts efficiently to meet productivity and delivery goals.

NOV Texas Oil Tools, the leading specialty manufacturer and supplier of well control equipment for intervention operations, is seeking a Service Technician for its Odessa, Texas location.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Familiar with Coiled Tubing Pressure Control Equipment (CTPCE) and fully conversant with the assembly drawings and bill of materials – using only approved versions.
• Responsible for the safe assembly, testing and repair of assigned pressure control (CTPCE) under the direction of the supervisor.
• Produce product in a manner as to improve efficiency and achieve productivity and delivery goals.
• Notify the supervisor of any mistakes, omissions, or alterations necessary to drawings or bill of materials.
• Upkeep of tools and toolbox, reporting any losses or breakages to the supervisor and keeping the toolbox locked when not in use.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
