Job summary

Drainbusters Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a full-time Vacuum/Jet Truck Operator to support our 24/7 drainage services for municipal, commercial and residential clients.

You will operate a vacuum/jet dual truck, maintain sanitary and storm systems, unclog drains with high-pressure jets, and perform video inspections using sewer cameras. Fluent English, a valid CDL, and safety training preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL or driver’s license required.
• Fluent English is required.
• 1–3 years of vac con / jet truck assistant experience preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 training preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate company equipment safely.
• Effective communication with customers and crew members.
• Commitment to safety and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate Vacuum/Jet dual truck.

Requirements

• Maintain a valid driver’s license / CDL license
• Overtime availability as we are a 24/7 operation
• Must understand and speak fluent English
• Preferred 1-3 years of experience as a vac con / jet truck assistant
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 OSHA and Confined Space training preferred
• Must also have the ability and/or willingness to learn and operate company equipment
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers / crew members including, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs
• Must work in a manner that will not jeopardize the health and safety of him/herself, other employees or the general public
• Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
