Job summary

Mossy Nissan National City is seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our fast-paced, high-volume shop. You will inspect, service, and prepare new and used vehicles to meet factory and dealership standards, with a focus on customer satisfaction by completing jobs correctly and on time.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of service technician experience and can thrive in a family-owned, growth-oriented environment that values integrity, mutual respect, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Clean driving record/valid CA driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needed services and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Comply with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs.

We are seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our team. Our high volume shop is fast-paced, productive and a great work atmosphere! The Service Technician inspects, services, & prepares new & used vehicles according to factory & dealership standards, policies & specifications. As a Service Technician the responsibility of customer satisfaction falls into the categories of completing the job correctly and on time.

The ideal candidate will have 3 - 5 years of service technician experience.

The Service Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly and Flag Rate Compensation of between $34.00 and $45.00, plus a productivity bonus equivalent up to a maximum hourly rate of $56.00 per hour based on individual performance.

Responsibilities

• - Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles sufficient to effectively communicate with service & sales staff
• - Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• - Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• - Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• - Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• - Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• - Complying with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs

Qualifications

• - Must have clean & valid driver's license
• - OEM certifications are encouraged!
• - Ability to exercise good judgment
• - Technical or trade school degree preferred
• - Clean driving record/ valid CA drivers license.
