Job summary

WTS Energy is seeking a Service Technician in Midland, TX to support production areas and participate in ongoing safety and quality programs. The role is hourly and non-exempt, with opportunities for training and advancement within the facility.

You will learn and apply basic technical skills, assist with equipment handling, material movement, and shop/yard upkeep in a safety‑conscious environment. The position emphasizes compliance with OSHA guidelines and quality standards.

• Load and unload trucks
• Move tools on and off racks
• General cleanup of the shop and yard
• Surface Finishing (Shot Peen, Cold Roll, Phosphating)

Job description

Service Technician will be responsible for assisting in multiple areas of production and may be promoted and trained in skilled positions. The Service Technician is also required to adhere to all safety and quality policies implemented.

This is an hourly non-exempt position.

Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions of the Position: Should be able to perform the below duties without assistance:

• Operate a forklift and crane – Training will be provided

• General cleanup of the shop and yard
• Surface Finishing (Shot Peen, Cold Roll, Phosphating)
• Other duties as assigned

Work Environment: The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme outside temperatures and Industrial hygiene regulated activities identified as potentially actionable according to OSHA standards. Including Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection and HAZCOM programs. Procedures are developed at each facility to minimize all risks and hazards through control measures.
