Job summary

OneWall Communities is seeking an experienced Service Technician with HVAC experience to oversee daily maintenance of our community in Maryland, handling plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and general building systems, plus make-ready renovations.

You will respond to service requests within 24 hours, communicate with residents and vendors, and participate in safety and on-call coverage as needed. A high school diploma and HVAC certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year of general maintenance with experience in construction, plumbing or electrical.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when necessary.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform essential job functions, including resident communication, documentation, and policy compliance.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions (required).

Responsibilities

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; exercising safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.

We are looking for an experience Service Technician with HVAC experience who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community to include general maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems, general grounds/curb appeal management, and “make ready” renovations.
