Job summary

OneWall Communities LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Technician with HVAC experience to join our maintenance team. You will handle day-to-day maintenance, repairs, plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry, plus make-ready renovations across our community.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, HVAC certification, 1 year of general maintenance experience, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, or on-call.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification is required.
• 1 year of general maintenance experience preferred (construction, plumbing, electrical).
• Excellent customer relations experience and ability to communicate with residents and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day maintenance and repairs.
• Handle plumbing and electrical tasks; basic carpentry as needed.
• Assist with make-ready renovations and grounds/curb appeal.

We are looking for an experience Service Technician with HVAC experience who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community to include general maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems, general grounds/curb appeal management, and "make ready" renovations.

Here is what you will be doing:

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; exercising safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.

Here is what you’ll have:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of general maintenance with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when necessary.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform essential job functions, including resident communication, documentation, and policy compliance.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions (required).
