Job summary

OneWall Communities seeks an experienced Service Technician with HVAC experience to manage daily maintenance at our community. responsibilities include general maintenance, repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and overseeing heating and cooling systems, as well as grounds upkeep and make-ready renovations.

You will communicate with residents and colleagues, ensure timely service, and uphold safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year of general maintenance with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical preferred
• HVAC certification required
• Excellent customer relations experience
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when necessary
• Must be able to read, write and speak English sufficiently for job functions
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions

Responsibilities

• Ensure service requests and repairs are completed correctly and promptly
• Complete service requests within 24 hours or per community policy
• Communicate effectively with residents, associates, vendors and supervisors
• Maintain and repair plumbing and electrical systems, replacing worn parts
• Assist with moving furniture and loading/unloading supplies while following safety procedures

We are looking for an experience Service Technician with HVAC experience who will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community to include general maintenance and repairs, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems, general grounds/curb appeal management, and “make ready” renovations.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing

• Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner.
• Ensure the completion of service requests in 24 hours or per community policy.
• Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, and supervisors.
• Maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts.
• Assist with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies; exercising safety if needed to assist with moving heavy items, such as furniture/appliances, and unloading/storing supplies.

Here Is What You’ll Have

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of general maintenance with experience in construction, plumbing, electrical preferred.
• HVAC certification required.
• Excellent customer relations experience.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, or on-call when necessary.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently to perform essential job functions, including resident communication, documentation, and policy compliance.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions (required).
