Job summary

MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC, a global leader in ultrasonic welding and automation solutions, seeks a hands-on Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and service equipment with up to 90% travel. Location is Howell, MI; full-time, non-exempt.

You will read schematics, wire panels, and deliver on-site customer support worldwide. Ideal candidates have a Mechatronics certification and 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics certification or equivalent training.
• 2–5 years of industrial machine building, wiring, or service experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and commission ultrasonic welding equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of industrial machines.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Wire electrical panels and machine controls (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Test, calibrate, and document machine performance.
• Deliver exceptional on-site customer service.

What You'll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and commission ultrasonic welding equipment
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of industrial machines

What We're Looking For

Travel Required

This position requires up to 90% travel, including frequent trips throughout the U.S. and internationally. Candidates must be able to travel to Canada, Mexico, Germany, and other international locations as needed.
