Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to support electric drive wheel loaders and drills across multiple open pit mine sites in the Southwest. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical skillset to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment. The position is onsite, working Monday – Saturday with overtime often available.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, service, and inspect Komatsu Electric Wheel Loaders and Drills
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective equipment parts, components or systems serviced at customer sites
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues on heavy equipment; perform troubleshooting on 24V and high‑voltage systems (up to ~600‑700 volts), hydraulic systems (leak repair, pressure testing, pump setup)
• Conduct field repairs at open pit mine sites

Qualifications / Requirements

• 3+ years of mining or construction equipment related experience
• Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics and manuals
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems common to mining and/or construction equipment
• Hold a strong standard for safety and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with drills, electric wheel loaders (e.g., 1150‑2350 series), or equipment formerly branded as LeTourneau
