Job summary

Bachman Auto Group in Louisville, KY is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles across seven franchise lines. You will document findings, perform repairs, and communicate results to customers while leveraging multiple diagnostic tools and manufacturer resources.

Applicants should have about 2 years of experience, be organized and detail oriented, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous experience in vehicle service or repair.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and service procedures.
• ASE certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Manufacturer training provided and required.
• Technicians should provide their own basic tools; specialty tools provided.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform quality vehicle repairs.
• Run diagnostic tests to locate causes of customer complaints.
• Document failures, remedies, and testing clearly and concisely.
• Utilize CDK, Drive Centric and manufacturer websites to access information.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate findings to customers and teams.

ASE certification is a plus.Specialty tools will be provided; however, Technicians are required to provide their own basic tool set.Our company uses many different technologies and our Technicians are expected to be comfortable with and make use of all of the programs that we use including CDK, Drive Centric, Rapid Recon, Microsoft 365 (IE: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and Teams as well as various Manufacturer websites.This position requires a valid driver license and acceptable records check.EOE
