Job summary

United Fast Food & Beverage Service is seeking a qualified refrigeration technician to service and repair ice makers, fountain equipment, and beverage systems across multiple sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document work performed while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Candidates should hold EPA refrigeration certification, possess a valid driver's license, and be comfortable working in various environments.

Qualifications

• EPA certification and Refrigeration Certification- Ability to maintain, repair, and install various types of refrigeration equipment.
• Proficiency with gauges, meters, torches, and welding equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
• Previous experience as a refrigeration technician or in related field such as appliance repair or mechanical maintenance.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team as service technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on ice makers, fountain equipment, and frozen carbonated beverage systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration equipment, identifying the root cause of malfunctions

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, as this position may require driving a company van to various job sites
• EPA certification and Refrigeration Certification- Ability to maintain, repair, and install various types of refrigeration equipment
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment common to the trade, such as gauges, meters, torches, and welding equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
• Previous experience as a refrigeration technician or in a related field, such as appliance repair or mechanical maintenance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Flexibility to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings
• Ability to climb up to 24' ladder and conduct roof work as required

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor
• Experience with basic hand tools and/or light installation preferred
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
