Job summary

Kraftsman Commercial Playgrounds & Water Parks is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair water filtration systems, pumps, and related equipment. You will inspect playgrounds and splash pads to ensure safety and compliance, and travel across Texas to service sites.

The ideal candidate brings mechanical aptitude, field service experience, and a customer‑focused approach. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role may include travel and overnight stays as

Qualifications

• Experience with water filtration systems, pumps, plumbing components, or pool equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting across various systems.
• Able to walk, stand, climb, and work outdoors in playgrounds, aquatic facilities, and similar environments.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.
• Must have or obtain CPO/AFO certification within two months of employment.
• May require use of a company service vehicle and regular travel across Texas, including overnight stays when needed.

We’re seeking a hands‑on, mechanically skilled Service Technician who can install, maintain, and repair water filtration systems, pumps, valves, and related equipment. This role also supports the inspection and repair of commercial playground structures to ensure safety and compliance. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer‑focused, and comfortable working independently in the field across various outdoor environments.

What You Will Do

What You Will Bring

• Professional communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
• Current Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification, or the ability to obtain one within two months of employment.
• Position may include authorization tooperatea company service vehicle for service calls and requires regular travel throughout Texas, including occasional overnight stays as necessary to complete assigned work.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Environment
