Job summary

Lion Real Estate Group in Houston, TX, is building its talent network for multifamily maintenance roles. We’re looking for Service Technicians who fix, troubleshoot, and improve community systems while delivering excellent resident service.

You’ll gain exposure to HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance across our portfolio, with opportunities to grow, collaborate with experienced pros, and advance your career.

Qualifications

• EPA Certification required (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, or general maintenance repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Valid Driver's License and insured operable vehicle (Mileage Reimbursement offered).

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, appliances, and general building systems.
• Assist with apartment turns and make-ready preparations.
• Perform preventive maintenance to help maintain community assets.
• Support emergency maintenance needs and participate in on-call rotations as required.
• Help maintain the overall appearance, safety, and curb appeal of the community.
• Work closely with residents and team members to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, or general maintenance repairs
• EPA Certification required (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality work
