Job summary

Adams Chevrolet in Havre de Grace, MD is looking for qualified technicians to join our fast-growing, family-owned dealership's service team. You will perform repairs, use diagnostic tools, and help maintain our reputation for quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• GM experience required.
• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders efficiently per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair major vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, A/C).
• Communicate with Service Advisor to inform customers and estimate repair times.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
