Gulfport Nissan in Gulfport, MS is seeking experienced Service Technicians to join our high-volume, fast-paced shop. You will inspect, service, and prepare new and used vehicles to factory and dealership standards, ensuring customer satisfaction by completing jobs on time and correctly.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications are ideal.
• Strong automotive background required.
• Strong teamwork skills are essential.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.
• OEM certifications are encouraged.
• Technical or trade school degree preferred.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current models and vehicles to communicate with service and sales staff.
• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional repairs and estimated time.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Comply with all company and legal requirements governing vehicle repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of current models and used vehicles sufficient to effectively communicate with service & sales staff
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Complying with all applicable company and legal requirements controlling vehicle repairs

Qualifications
