Description

$30 - $60 / hour

This individual will be responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality. Their work must be completed in a safe, professional, and timely manner. Depending on their expertise, the Service Technician may work under direct supervision. The individual must perform quality work efficiently and profitably, and be available for occasional overtime and weekend work.

Specific Duties Include:

1. Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, assemble, and service equipment as assigned by the supervisor.
2. Document machine information and repairs completed on work orders, including parts and fluids used.
3. Maintain a clean work area and care for all shop tools, machines, and equipment.
4. Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities within the dealership’s area of responsibility.
5. Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment sold within the dealership’s area of responsibility.
6. Follow all safety rules and regulations, and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and the employee handbook.
7. Conduct oneself professionally in the presence of customers and the community to present a positive image of RDO Equipment Co.
8. Participate in company-sponsored training to develop and enhance skills and knowledge.
9. Engage in communication efforts such as meetings and huddles.
10. Maintain positive, professional relationships with colleagues, management, and support resources, with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management in a professional manner.
