Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is hiring a Service Technician to install and maintain our products across locations in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.

You will meet operational goals, adhere to 5S and regulatory requirements (DOT, OSHA, HACCP), and keep vehicle parts and paperwork in order while communicating with customers to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• DOT-regulated vehicle operation requires pre-employment drug test.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve customer issues for installation and service.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
• Strong customer focus and ability to respond to challenging customer situations.
• Must meet Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand.
• Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach.
• Ability to climb up and down a ladder up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining products in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Meet and control operational goals and timelines for service labor per hour; first time right; 5S standards.
• Comply with internal processes and procedures and all local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
• Maintain proper parts and supply levels in service vehicles and paperwork.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations.
• Service customers’ needs, training and coaching them on the system as needed.
• Utilize iPhone apps to perform multiple functions in role (parts, notes, clocking in/out).
• Night installation work may be required; schedule varies by demand.

• The position may include night installation work; the schedule will vary based on customer demand & install schedule.

Education, Requirements & Competencies:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• This position requires the operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle, and candidates will be subject to passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test. Please be advised, a positive result for any controlled substance will disqualify applicants; including marijuana (THC), even if it is legal under state or local law.
