Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is seeking a Service Technician to install and service our advanced equipment across food service locations. You will train customers through troubleshooting and servicing, handle installation for new customers, and service existing customers with repairs and maintenance.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, driving a DOT-regulated vehicle, and occasional night installations. Comprehensive benefits and a competitive pay package are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• DOT-regulated vehicle operation; pre-employment drug test.
• Positive result for controlled substances disqualifies applicants (including marijuana).
• Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist and reach.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain Restaurant Technologies products safely, timely, and accurately.
• Meet and control service labor goals, first-time-right, and 5S standards.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, HACCP and all local/federal requirements.
• Maintain parts and supplies in service vehicles and complete paperwork accurately.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations.
• Provide training and coaching to customers on the system as needed.
• Use iPhone apps for parts, notes, and clocking in/out.
• Night installation work may be required based on demand and schedule.

The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our Service Technicians are responsible for the installation and servicing of our advanced equipment in locations throughout the food service industry. As a Service Technician with Restaurant Technologies, you’ll install our core products for new customers and assist with customer training through troubleshooting and servicing. Compensation

$30.00 per hour + Shift Differential + OT + Quarterly Bonus up to $5200/yr Opportunities to increase base pay with weekend shifts, tenure and level-up development programs

Primary Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for installing and maintaining our products in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Meet and control operational goals and timelines - service labor per hour, first time right, 5S standards, etc.
• Comply with internal processes and procedures as well as all local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
• Maintain proper parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and proper paperwork standards.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets customers’ expectations.
• Efficiently and professionally service customers’ needs, training and coaching them on the system as needed.
• Utilize iPhone apps to perform multiple functions in role (parts, customer notes, clocking in/out).
• The position may include night installation work; the schedule will vary based on customer demand & install schedule.

Education, Requirements & Competencies

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• This position requires the operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle, and candidates will be subject to passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test.

• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve customer issues for installation and service.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
• Strong customer focus and ability to respond to challenging customer situations in a positive manner.
• Must meet Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand.
• Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out.
• Ability to climb up and down a ladder as high as 20 feet in the air.

The Team
