Job summary

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in Middletown, PA in finding a Service Technician. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a pay of $21.00 per hour and access to Adecco’s Aspire Academy for upskilling.

The incumbent will perform repairs, diagnose issues, and ensure safety and quality throughout the repair process. The position emphasizes maintaining productivity, cost containment, and adherence to company policies and values while delivering high-quality service and timely

Responsibilities

• Maintain superior technical knowledge and skills through study of online repair manuals and schematics.
• Perform high quality repairs using prescribed corrective measures with appropriate tools.
• Use hand scanners to receive, diagnose, pick spare parts, repair, and complete tool repairs.
• Conduct final functional and safety testing after every repair to ensure customer safety.
• Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in an organized order for timely, safe work.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and rules, and uphold the company culture.

In a timely and efficient manner, perform duties required to maintain a quality service outlet for the repair of equipment. Maximize productivity within Repair Operations while delivering high quality, timely repairs of tools and enhancing the value-added image associated with owning a tool. Contribute to the Company's financial success through COGS control, process improvement, and cost containment throughout the repair process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain superior technical knowledge and skills through continuous professional development by studying and reviewing on-line repair manuals, schematics, and technical files
• Perform high quality repairs to products through proper problem diagnosis and application of prescribed corrective measures while utilizing appropriate tools and systems
• Use hand scanners to receive, diagnose, pick spare parts, repair, and complete the repair of tools
• Conduct final functional and safety testing after every repair to ensure customer safety
• Maintain work areas, tools, and assigned equipment in a proper, organized order thus enabling the incumbent to perform the job in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Follow company policies, procedures, and rules
• Follow and abide to the company's culture, values, and principles
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs. (Assisted)
• Must have the ability to use hand tools and equipment to disassemble and assemble power tools
• Stand for long periods of time and perform repetitively reaching, bending, and climbing.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours daily while performing tool repairs at workstation

This role is being recruited for by one of our Centralized Delivery Team and not your local Branch.

Pay Details: $21.00 per hour
