Murphy-Hoffman Company (MHC Kenworth) is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group. This Diesel Service Technician position performs heavy-duty truck repairs under general supervision, with on-the-job training in a development program.

Candidates should have CDL preferred, at least three years hands-on experience or vocational training, and certifications in A/C, Brake, and DOT inspections. The role emphasizes safety, training attendance, and maintaining a neat shop.

Formación

• CDL preferred.

• A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and/or assists in general mechanical duties.
• Gains experience in motor overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, motor tune-up, and general maintenance.
• Works on major components with close supervision.
• Performs trouble shooting on minor problems.
• Attends training sessions and meetings.
• Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
• Advises the Shop Foreman if additional repair work is necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic. The Diesel Service Technician / Mechanic performs heavy-duty truck repair under general supervision, receiving on the job training in a development program to achieve service technician status.

• Performs and/or assists in the performance of general mechanical duties.


• Gains experience in motor overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, motor tune-up, and general maintenance.


• Works on major components with close supervision.


• Performs trouble shooting on minor problems.


• Attends training sessions and meetings.


• Maintains a neat and orderly working area, and proper handling of company tools.
