Job summary

First Choice Coffee Services is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on our coffee brewing equipment at customer locations, including installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs.

You will instruct customers on proper equipment use, respond to inquiries, and complete all service calls with accurate paperwork. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with past experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Past experience in a service or technician role is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on proper use of equipment and respond to inquiries about coffee equipment.
• Complete service calls and related paperwork accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for the service vehicle and monthly inventory of parts.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for customer sites.
• Prepare service orders and inventory records per company policies.

What you’ll be doing – The Role:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities on our coffee brewing equipment, including emergency service calls, preventive maintenance, installations, and equipment removals at customer locations.
• Instruct customers on the proper use of coffee equipment, respond to inquiries from customers about coffee equipment, and communicate customer inquiries to appropriate First Choice staff.
• Complete all service calls and related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Maintain proper parts inventory for assigned service vehicle and inventory parts on a monthly basis.
• Refurbish and repair coffee equipment for use at customer sites.
• Prepare records such as service orders, product disbursement sheets, monthly inventory, and parts inventory in accordance with First Choice policies and procedures.
• Ensure that assigned service vehicle undergoes routine maintenance as needed, obey all traffic laws, and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Assume route driver duties during vacation, extended leave, or other absence of regular branch delivery drivers; perform other deliveries as needed.
• Maintain and clean the service area.
• Receive, organize, and maintain parts for equipment.
