Moisture Loc, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to support our crawl space solutions and customer relationships in the Charlotte, NC area.

The role involves on-site visits, coordinating with a Sales and Production Administrator, and maintaining equipment and supplies for installations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be upbeat, professional, safety-conscious, and a strong communicator with the ability to sell services consultatively.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior construction and home improvement experience.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attend appointments scheduled by a Sales and Production Administrator.
• Travel to appointments using a company vehicle.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are on the company vehicle.
• Perform yearly maintenance for existing customers.
• Inspect work for warranty assessments.
• Diagnose and fix issues; recommend additional products/services.
• Install additional products purchased by the customer.
• Communicate results of assessments and visits to the Sales and Production Administrator.

Founded in 1988, Moisture Loc provides waterproofing, crawlspace encapsulation, mold remediation, drainage and structural foundation services including foundation repair. The primary service region is the Charlotte Metropolitan area. Services are provided for new residential construction as well as existing homes. Today, Moisture Loc is the largest family-owned residential waterproofing company in the Carolinas.

What You'll Do

The Service Technician is vital for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring the peak operating condition of our crawl space solutions. A typical day will include the following:

• Attending appointments scheduled by a Sales and Production Administrator
• Traveling to appointments using a company vehicle
• Ensuring the required supplies and equipment are on the company vehicle
• Performing yearly maintenance for existing customers
• Inspecting work completed by Moisture Loc for warranty assessments
• Diagnosing and fixing issuesRecommending additional products and services to enhance original installations or to remedy new concerns
• Installing additional products purchased by the customer
• Communicating results of assessments and customer visits to the Sales and Production Administrator

Nature of Work and Conditions

• Work is typically performed in basements and crawl spaces
• Work requires constant movement, is physical and can include standing, bending, crawling, loading and unloading materials, pushing and pulling equipment.

Requirements

• Ability to pass pre-employment screening including a background check
