Vesuvius North America in Charleston, IL is seeking a field-based refractory maintenance coordinator to support ongoing plant operations. You will monitor and assist in maintenance of refractory systems, service pneumatic refractory gunite equipment, and help manage inventories.

The role requires the ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and be available 24/7 as needed. A college degree is preferred, and proficiency in Excel and Word is required.

Knowledge/Experience/Skills Needed

College degree preferred. Effective verbal communication skills, a proven ability to “multi-task”, and the ability to work and interact with others at different internal and external organizational levels. Proficiency in Excel and Word is required. This position requires the ability to work flexible hours, overtime and at time be responsive 24/7. Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
