Job summary

Cecil Atkission Motors is seeking a Service Technician to perform repairs per repair orders with efficiency, while following dealership standards. You will test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and equipment.

The role requires diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C systems, and communicating with the Service Advisor about any additional work and time estimates.

Qualifications

• No experience required; CDJR training offered.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and automotive background required.
• Teamwork and reliability are essential.
• Must be willing to undergo drug screening and background checks.
• Clean and valid driver’s license is required.
• Fast learner and self-motivated attitude.

Responsibilities

Service Technician Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership


• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment


• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs


• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Service Technician Qualifications

• No experience required. All CDJRtraining offered!


• Strong mechanical aptitude


• Strong automotive background


• Teamwork skills


• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check


• A clean & valid driver's license


• Fast learner and self-motivated
