Job summary

R&R Manufacturing in Broussard, LA seeks an experienced Service Technician to diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, rebuild pumps and components, and perform field service calls. You will install parts, document work, and ensure high-quality service while maintaining shop safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hydraulic repair experience, a hydraulic technician background, and strong mechanical and customer-service skills. Local candidates welcome for a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Hydraulic technician training required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years hydraulic repair and rebuilding experience.
• Ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Haskel products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and related components.
• Test, inspect, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation.
• Perform field service calls, including hydrostatic testing and equipment repairs.
• Install hydraulic components on customer and in-house equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records, repair documentation, and testing certifications.
• Work closely with the Repair Coordinator to support quoting, parts research, scheduling, and customer updates.
• Provide exceptional customer service while troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

R&R Manufacturing is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join our growing team in Broussard, Louisiana. If you enjoy diagnosing mechanical issues, rebuilding hydraulic equipment, working with customers, and taking pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour (DOE)

What You'll Do

• Repair and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and related components.
