Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Service Technician role based in Broussard, LA. The Service Technician will perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on a variety of pumps and related equipment, both in the shop and at customer locations. Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment, diagnosing mechanical and technical issues, replacing or repairing parts, and performing preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. The role involves field service work, accurate documentation of all service activities, adherence to safety standards, and proper use of tools and testing equipment. The Service Technician will also interact with customers to explain work performed, provide basic operational guidance, and support a high level of service quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and pump systems.
• Proficient in Troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical and mechanical issues efficiently.
• Experience in Field Service, including working at customer sites and adapting to varying work environments.
• Effective Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully with clients.
• General Maintenance abilities, including preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for industrial and field environments.
• Valid driver’s license needed
• Physical ability to lift and move equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in various outdoor conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in mechanical, industrial, or related fields are a plus.
