Job summary

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical medical devices. You will follow technical manuals, perform tests, and ensure devices meet quality and safety standards.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on troubleshooting with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and basic electronic test equipment. You will document test results, communicate repairs to customers, and train junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• HSD (or equivalent) and 2+ years of experience troubleshooting using basic electronic test equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Must be detail oriented and able to read, understand and follow detailed procedures.
• Must have proven ability to meet workmanship standards relative to soldering techniques, use of hand tools and test equipment.
• Must be able to train technicians in the performance of repairs associated within the department.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret test data and recognize discrepancies.
• Ability to document test results.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and replace faulty materials.
• Use hand tools and testing equipment to repair manufacturing machines and Medical Devices.
• Understanding computer programs and learning the use of software used to document customer repairs. Ability to learn to maintain accurate device history files in approved systems.
• Communicate the repair performed in customer letters and provide basic technical support with customers on the phone.

Your Background

This roles annual salary expectation is set at $55,000.- $60,000 + annual bonus
