Job summary

Centre Area Transportation Authority in State College, PA invites qualified applicants to join as a Service Technician. You will inspect vehicles, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document repairs to meet safety standards.

We offer 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri), competitive hourly salaries with progression, benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, EAP, and PSLF eligibility. CDL and inspections licenses support will be provided.

Qualifications

Join the Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) as a Service Technician in State College, PA. Salary for Year One: $25.36/hour, Year Two: $28.53/hour, After Year Two: $31.70/hour

What would you do as a Service Technician?

As a Service Technician at CATA, you'll inspect vehicles for safety and operational integrity. Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Position requires possession of, or the ability to obtain, Class A CDL with passenger endorsement, PA State Inspection License (S7) and 609 AC certification. CATA provides CDL training and assistance for inspection license and AC certification.
