Job summary

Mission Rock Residential in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Service Technician to deliver excellent customer service to prospective and current residents while promoting a quality living experience. You will handle work orders, routine checkups, and hands-on repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and more.

You will inspect buildings for safety, respond promptly to requests, and collaborate with the Service Manager and Property Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• CPO certification preferred or required depending on property.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational and time-management abilities.
• Collaborative, solutions-focused attitude.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

What You’ll Do

As a Service Technician, you’ll provide excellent customer service to prospective and current residents while promoting a quality living experience for all. From completing work orders to routine check-ups, you’ll use your hands‑on expertise to ensure residents feel proud to call our communities home.

Your day-to-day may include:

• Diagnose problems and perform assigned repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, swimming pools, carpentry, dry wall repair, exterior structures, and appliances.
• Ensures assigned work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally.
• Inspect buildings to ensure safety and cleanliness, alerting the Service Manager and Property Manager immediately to items that need to be addressed.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance or related trade is required.
• CPO Certification (desired/required depending on property)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Organizational and time‑management abilities
• A collaborative, solutions-focused, “can-do” attitude
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

The expected compensation range for this position is $26.00-$28.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
