Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking a skilled Home Service Technician to service heating systems and related equipment in customer homes in Baltimore.

You will be the public face of the company, performing troubleshooting, repairs, and safety inspections, while delivering professional, courteous service and building trust with customers.

This role requires strong technical ability, excellent communication, and the willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays with overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience servicing residential AC and heating equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to expand technical knowledge and pursue growth.
• Exceptional technical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Make service calls to customer homes and provide troubleshooting and repair service for heating systems.
• Act as the main point of contact between the company and customers, maintaining a professional image.
• Assess customers’ equipment and service needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair residential AC equipment, heating, and other equipment.
• Identify opportunities to generate revenue, make recommendations, and close sales when appropriate.
• Perform efficiency tests on combustion-related installations.
• Prepare accurate daily paperwork.
• Communicate with the dispatcher and service departments.
• Utilize safety equipment and PPE.
• Maintain an organized van and track tools and parts inventory.

Job Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact between the company and customers, maintaining a professional and friendly image.
• Assess customers’ equipment and service needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair residential AC equipment, heating, and other equipment.
• Identify revenue‑generating opportunities, make recommendations to customers, and close sales when appropriate.
• Perform efficiency tests on all combustion‑related installations.
• Prepare accurate daily paperwork.
• Communicate with the dispatcher and service departments.
• Utilize all applicable safety equipment and PPE.
• Maintain an organized van and account for assigned tools and parts inventory.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; HVAC certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience servicing residential air conditioning and heating equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the company’s motor vehicle policy.
• Willingness to expand technical and repair knowledge, obtain new licenses, and pursue professional growth.
• Exceptional technical skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance safely.
