Job summary

Restaurant Technologies is hiring a Service Technician to install and service our bulk cooking oil management equipment across locations in the food service industry. You will train customers, troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance, while ensuring safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA/HACCP standards.

Compensation includes $28.00 per hour, possible overtime, and a quarterly bonus up to $5,200. Four 10-hour shifts weekly, with potential night installs, in Atlanta area if assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• This position requires operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot installation and service issues for customers.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical and/or electrical duties.
• Strong customer focus and ability to handle challenging customer situations.
• Must meet Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders up to 20 feet.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain our products in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Meet and manage service labor per hour and timelines; maintain 5S standards.
• Comply with internal processes and all local and federal requirements including DOT, OSHA, HACCP.
• Maintain parts and supplies in service vehicles and paperwork standards.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets expectations.
• Provide training and coaching to customers on the system.
• Use iPhone apps for parts, notes, and clocking in/out.
• Night installation work may be required depending on demand and schedule.

The Service Technician plays a critical role in the success of Restaurant Technologies. Our Service Technicians are responsible for the installation and servicing of our advanced equipment in locations throughout the food service industry. As a Service Technician with Restaurant Technologies, you’ll install our core products for new customers and assist with customer training through troubleshooting and servicing. For existing customers, you will be responsible for service, repair, and routine maintenance.

Primary Job Accountabilities

• Responsible for installing and maintaining our products in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
• Meet and control operational goals and timelines- service labor per hour, first time right, 5S standards, etc.
• Comply with internal processes and procedures as well as all local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA, and HACCP.
• Maintain proper parts and supply levels in company service vehicles and proper paperwork standards.
• Communicate with customers to ensure product performance meets customers’ expectations.
• Efficiently and professionally service customers’ needs, training and coaching them on the system as needed.
• Utilize iPhone apps to perform multiple functions in role (parts, customer notes, clocking in/out)
• The position may include night installation work; the schedule will vary based on customer demand & install schedule.

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Requirements & Competencies:

• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• This position requires the operation of a DOT-regulated vehicle, and candidates will be subject to passing a DOT-mandated pre-employment drug test. • Ability to work within a team environment

• Must meet Restaurant Technologies’ Fleet Safety requirements and maintain a clean driving record
• Ability to carry 50 pounds by hand
• Unrestricted ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand, walk, climb, twist, turn and reach out
• Ability to climb up and down a ladder as high as 20 feet in the air
