Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Service Technician to perform scheduled maintenance and servicing of Stanley Access Technologies equipment in Rochester, NY. The role focuses on ensuring optimal operation, maintaining client relationships, and staying current with industry advances.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license; an Associate degree in a related field and AAADM certification are a plus. Training and support are provided to develop the necessary skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and routine preventive maintenance on equipment/systems under contract by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating to ensure proper operation.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention.
• Maintain knowledge of industry developments and product/tech changes.

What You Will Do:

• Perform scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order
• Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention
• Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid state driver's license without restrictions

In addition, you ideally bring to the table but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!

• Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
• Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
• Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification

Compensation:

• Pay range from $25-28/hr
• The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
