Job summary

Allegion is seeking an Install Technician for Stanley Access Technologies covering Maryland & DC areas. Responsibilities

  • Perform installation or service work as designated in a professional and profitable manner.
  • Record productive time versus travel time accurately.
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to the customer’s service program.
  • Maintain all work records and parts used per established procedure.
  • Keep Stanley equipment and ANSI/156.10 standards knowledge up to date.
  • Keep manuals and details current as changes are communicated.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools and other property in proper order.
  • Present a neat, safe appearance and workmanship per company policy.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory for the service vehicle and log usage.
  • Test equipment before leaving a job site and conduct safety checks.
  • Maintain good customer relations and assist others with install/service methods.

Install Technician – Stanley Access Technologies, Maryland & DC Areas

$3,000 Bonus Upon Completion of AAADM Certification

What You Will Do:
  • Perform installation or service work as designated in profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.
  • Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with service program designated for specific customer.
  • Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.
  • Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standard as notified through published communications.
  • Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools and other property in proper manner.
  • Present neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
  • Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety check.
  • Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
  • Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
  • Ability to lift 75-100lbs.
  • Sitting while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours but not limited to.
  • Standing on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours but not limited to.
  • Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling, Crawling, and twisting spine occasionally.
  • Vision not limited to near, far or colors.
  • Ability to work in various climates.
  • Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.
Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
  • Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
  • Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

  • The expected Base Hourly Range: $25 - $35 an hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
