Position Overview

The Service Technician ensures the proper operation of customers' heating and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, repairing or replacing systems and components, managing repair costs, maintaining tools and inventory, and responding to emergency safety concerns.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with dispatch and management to ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Diagnose HVAC system malfunctions and identify repair needs.
  • Repair heating and air conditioning systems and related equipment.
  • Manage repair costs and inventory effectively.
  • Perform renovation and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
  • Respond to emergency situations to resolve safety concerns.
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred: Strong HVAC experience in residential areas, EPA Certification (1-3 years preferred).
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Experience with residential and light commercial HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Proficient with electronic equipment and data entry.
Physical Requirements

Must meet physical demands such as lifting up to 15 pounds, using hands and fingers for tasks, and vision abilities. Reasonable accommodations available.
