Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Service Tech I to perform maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment. You’ll ensure safety, quality, and readiness of gear while delivering excellent customer service.

You will inspect equipment, report conditions, assist with deliveries, and support inventory management. Training and growth opportunities are available in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment including oil, fluids, electrical systems, AC, plumbing.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Manage and organize inventory.
