Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Service Technician to support our Flooring and Facilities Solutions Division. You will perform maintenance and minor repairs on rental flooring equipment, ensure safe operation, and demonstrate equipment to customers.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-use checks, reporting conditions to management, assisting with pick-up and delivery, and performing other duties as needed. A strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Basic knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools applicable to position.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

As a Service Technician at United Rentals supporting our Flooring and Facilities Solutions Division, you will use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. Note: This position is governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement. Rate of pay and benefits will be determined by the agreement in place.
