Job summary

Allegion Vallejo, CA is seeking a Service Technician to inspect, calibrate and service a range of security and access systems under contract. You will ensure safe, reliable operation and respond to routine service calls in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and an associate degree or hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, or industrial fields. AAADM Certification is preferred; training is provided to those who qualify.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, or industrial field.
• Prior experience in the construction or electrical field.
• Experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, and reading blueprints.
• AAADM Certification preferred.

• Perform scheduled and routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems under contract, inspecting, adjusting, cleaning and calibrating for safe operation.
• Promote, build and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention.
• Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology.

Service Technician (Stanley Access Technologies)

What You Will Do:

• Perform scheduled and/or routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and equipment to ensure it’s in satisfactory working order
• Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention
• Maintain knowledge of industry changes and new developments in products and technology

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions
• In addition, you ideally bring to the table but if not, we will happily provide the training and support you need to be successful!
• Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field
• Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field
• Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification

Compensation: Pay range from $30-35/hr

The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
