Job summary

Arbon Equipment Corporation, a Rite-Hite Company located in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking Service Technicians responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. Successful candidates will possess welding skills, mechanical and electrical systems knowledge, and excellent customer service abilities.

This role requires working independently in a field environment, as well as a commitment to safety, including the ability to lift heavy equipment. Comprehensive benefits, including medical coverage and retirement programs, are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience welding and working with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Prior experience in the repair or installation of industrial equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a field environment.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and lift up to 100 pounds.
• Pre-employment drug test, clean driving record, and DOT physical required.

Rite‑Hite Service Technicians will install, maintain, and repair loading dock equipment and industrial doors at customer facilities. In addition, Service Technicians act as a technical resource for our customers and our sales force. This position works independently or in small teams in a field service environment, and is a primary customer contact.
