United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Service Tech I to perform maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment in a safe, professional manner.

You will apply your diesel/mechanical knowledge while delivering excellent customer service to our customers. Responsibilities include pre- and post-use checks, reporting equipment condition, minor repairs including oil, fluids, electrical and plumbing, assisting with pick-up/delivery, and inventory management.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines, Vacuum Trucks, AC Systems, RV Systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of relevant tools.
• Basic plumbing knowledge.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment including checking oil, grease, fluids, electrical systems, AC systems, Plumbing, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Manage and Organize Inventory.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

What you'll do:

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
