Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Service Tech I in New Braunfels, TX. You will perform maintenance checks and minor repairs on rental equipment, ensuring safety and readiness for rental customers.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and knowledge of diesel engines, AC and electrical systems. This role offers growth opportunities and a strong benefits package.

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of Diesel Engines, Vacuum Trucks, AC Systems, RV Systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude including knowledge of tools.
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use.
• Report machine condition to Management.
• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment including checking oil, grease, fluids, electrical systems, AC systems, Plumbing, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status.
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts.
• Manage and Organize Inventory.
• Other duties assigned as needed.

What you'll do:

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use

• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment including checking oil, grease, fluids, electrical systems, AC systems, Plumbing, and tagging of equipment for rental ready status
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts

• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
