Zusammenfassung

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC is seeking a skilled coordinator to schedule and dispatch field technicians for generator startups and related services. You will verify jobsite readiness, review orders and specifications, and coordinate dates with customers and project teams.

You will manage parts and equipment, track progress, and communicate changes to stakeholders in a fast-paced office environment in Ocean, NJ.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, project coordination, or related field.
• Experience with standby generators, automatic transfer switches, electrical systems, and startup processes is preferred.
• Experience using service-management, dispatch, CRM or ERP software; proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.

• Review work orders and specifications for completeness and accuracy.

• Ensure technicians receive complete job packages with site contacts, model/serial numbers, and special instructions.
• Track parts, tools, testing equipment, and materials; escalate shortages or risks promptly.
• Monitor daily field activity and adjust schedules as priorities change; communicate delays to stakeholders.

What You Will Do

• Schedule and dispatch qualified field technicians for generator startups, commissioning, testing, and related service work.


• Confirm jobsite readiness before scheduling, including equipment installation, electrical connections, fuel supply, batteries, and safe site access.


• Review work orders, project scope, equipment specifications, startup checklists, and manufacturer requirements for completeness and accuracy.


• Coordinate startup dates and site requirements with customers, contractors, project managers, and field service technicians.


• Ensure technicians receive complete job packages, including site contacts, model and serial numbers, and special instructions.


• Track parts, tools, testing equipment, and other materials required for each assignment; escal shortages or scheduling risks promptly.


• Monitor daily field activity, adjust schedules as priorities change, and communicate delays or conflicts to affected parties.

What You Will Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in electrical, mechanical, power-generation, or business operations preferred.


• Two or more years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, project coordination, power generation, or preferred related field.


• Knowledge of standby generators, automatic transfer switches, electrical systems, fuel systems, and startup or commissioning processes preferred.


• Experience using service-management, dispatch, customer relationship management, or enterprise resource planning software.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.


• Ability to read work orders, equipment schedules, and technical documents.


• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• The ability to sit for much of the assigned shift while using phones, and computers.


• This job is preformed primarily in office environments.

Location - Ocean, NJ

Schedule - Monday - Friday

Range - This is a non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay range of $21/hr - $25/hr. Rate paid will be dependent upon applicable experience.
