Job summary

City Uniforms & Linen in Columbus, OH seeks a Service Specialist to service remote customers with a daily on-site presence, while representing the company professionally and cheerfully. The role requires handling scrubs inventory, monitoring dispensers, and being prepared to fix machine issues.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, 1–2 years of customer service experience, and preferably a degree in business or sales.

Responsibilities

• Receive clean, pre-packaged scrubs and keep a current inventory.
• Monitor and maintain levels in the scrub dispensers on-site, maintaining a pre-determined quantity.
• Be available to correct machine malfunctions.
• Remove soiled product from machine and stage the product to be picked up.
• Report daily on condition, functionality and size trends of the operation.
• Effectively interact with medical staff to ensure scrub program is meeting their needs.
• Update user database by entering new personnel and removing those no longer employed, in a timely, detail-oriented manner.
• Communicate with Findlay plant for specific needs.

Service Specialists of City Uniforms & Linen will service remote customers as a daily, on-site presence. At all times a Service Specialist must represent our company in a professional, motivated and cheerful manner.

Position Requirements / Physical Demands:

• An SS must have excellent people handling skills
• Keep your Supervisor and Service Manager informed of any customer issues.
• Being thoroughly knowledgeable on the company’s products.
• Attending all company scheduled training and sales meetings.
• Maintain your personal appearance in accordance with the company’s dress code.
• Ability to lift / move 20-30 pounds of product repeatedly throughout shift; ability to climb stairs while carrying up to 30 pounds; ability to kneel, squat, reach above head and sit for long periods of time.

Education and Work Experience

• High School diploma (GED) required; A degree in business or sales preferred
• 1-2 years of customer service experience in a relatable industry
