Job summary

A global leader in energy management is seeking a Service Software Engineer at their Horsham, PA location. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and possess excellent skills in HVAC and electronic control systems. Responsibilities include commissioning control systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing exceptional customer service. This role does not support sponsorship and requires work authorization within the United States.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with HVAC or electronic control systems.
  • Strong communication skills essential for customer interaction.
  • EBO certification a plus; TAC product knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform commissioning of control systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Repair and reconfigure control system equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
  • Provide emergency and warranty service as required.
  • Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices
  • Install replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software
  • Assist in performing job site training sessions
  • Provide emergency and warranty service as required
  • May perform installation of conduit, cable and field devices

Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of a Service Software Engineer at our Horsham, PA location.
What will you do?
  • Performs commissioning of control systems to ensure proper operation

  • Diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
  • Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices
  • Install replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software
  • Assist in performing job site training sessions
  • Provide emergency and warranty service as required
  • May perform installation of conduit, cable and field devices
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • Good understanding of HVAC, Access or other building or electronic control systems
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • EBO certification a plus
  • TAC product knowledge a plus
