Heritage Ford Inc. is seeking a Service Scheduler to act as the voice of the dealership, coordinating daily vehicle service appointments and communicating with customers via phone, email, text, and chat.
The role emphasizes listening, accuracy, and customer care as it interfaces with technicians and service staff. Responsibilities include scheduling, coordinating pickups, handling inquiries, and resolving conflicts while ensuring smooth information flow between advisors and managers.
Our beloved service scheduler has retired and Heritage Ford seeks a replacement.
The service scheduler is an administrative professional who acts as the voice of our dealership, communicating directly with our customers to schedule and coordinate daily maintenance or repair appointments for our technicians. This position is sometimes referred to as a service BDC within the automotive industry. We use the industry’s most advanced tools to help customers set and keep appointments for their vehicles. The scheduler will communicate through a number of channels such as phone, email, text, and chat to connect and coordinate with both customers and fellow service staff team members.
This role places a high emphasis on listening, detail, accuracy, and concern for our service customers. The scheduler must listen to the customers needs and appropriately schedule them to match available technician skill levels. A skilled scheduler can manage cancellations, filling the day with the best alternatives.
If you have previous experience as a medical or health care intake scheduler, front desk agent, document controller, coordinator, or procurement specialist, this role may be right for you.
Promotion and pay increases will be available to those who prove efficient.
