Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a Full-time Service Route Driver for Butler, PA. This day-shift, 1st shift position runs Monday through Friday with holidays off. You will load the vehicle, drive to client locations, deliver and stock products, and ensure proper refrigeration and inventory control.

The role requires a 21+ driver, a valid license (CDL not required), ability to pass a DOT Physical, and strong customer service skills. Competitive benefits apply.

Service Route Driver, Full-time Dayshift

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to immediately hire to fill the role of
Full-time Service Route Driver in Butler, PA. This is a day-shift position working 1st shift, Monday - Friday, will be off on major holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the company vehicle is properly loaded with all products needed to service locations
• Drive a vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Deliver, load, and unload products and food as requested
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in the truck and at accounts
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines at accounts
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
